Berlin & Her Places is a lifestyle, culture & arts blog written by women & nb people living in Berlin. It covers four broad areas or ‘places’ (work, city, life & home) & aims to explore the city through the voices of the women/nb people who live here, as well as celebrating their projects, interests and achievements.
Any woman, female-identifying or non binary person is welcome to pitch their idea for a piece to berlinandherplaces@gmail.com. We are looking for non fiction writing in the English language including, but not limited to, personal essays, interviews, reviews, features or opinion. We also strive to promote female/non-binary led projects, exhibitions and ventures in Berlin, so please also get in touch if you’d like us to share news and/or events.
As the blog is currently run on a voluntary basis by our team, we wish to be open about the fact that we are regrettably unable to remunerate writers at this time. Our ultimate aim, however, is to make this possible in the near future, and we will keep readers & writers updated on this accordingly.
